Our Story

A family dream, years in the making

“Joe’s Kitchen is something that has been building for years. Our family has always dreamed of opening another restaurant together.”

After more than 20 years of owning and operating restaurants, the Tinaj family opened Joe’s Kitchen in 2026 at the corner of 24 Mile and Schoenherr — in the Shelby Township community they’ve called home for over 15 years.

Step inside and you’ll see why guests call it their new favorite spot: a bright, modern dining room with living green walls, plates made fresh to order, and portions that treat you like family.
